I have a curious eye and passion for discovery.
I aim to capture more than just images; I want to unveil the rich stories that often get overlooked. It's about how communities hold onto their identity, pride, and memories, even in a world driven by mass consumerism.
With a curious lens, I explore everything from our main streets to the hidden gems in nature surrounding our back roads. I use different perspectives and natural light to invite viewers into moments that might spark memories, emotions, or a deeper connection.
Over the years, I've sharpened my skills at Maine Media Workshops and the New England School of Photography, along with guidance from former NESOP instructor Carol Krauss and photographer David H. Wells.
I've had the chance to exhibit my work in group shows all across New England, including at places like the Brush Art Gallery, Cambridge Art Association, Danforth Museum of Art, and Galatea Fine Arts. In 2010, I was excited to be one of 12 artists selected for Exposure, the 15th annual PRC Juried Exhibition. My work was also featured in the four-artist show, Connections, at the Maine Media Gallery, and it's now part of the permanent art collection at the Bernardi Auto Group.
I even created a series for the PRC blog called Marketing Conversations for Photographers, where I shared tips to help artists navigate the world of art and commerce successfully.
